Springs - Race Tech Fork Springs for CBR600F4/F4i 99-04 - Suspension Components - Solo Moto Parts

Valves - Race Tech Compression Gold Valve Fork Kit for CBR600F3/F4/F4i 94-06 - Suspension Components - Solo Moto Parts

Most likely the rtear just isn't set properly. Find someone that knows what they are doing and have them help you. If it is still not right, try to rebuild it because the stock rear shock is pretty good!

Thanks for the links. I just checked them out and that isnt too bad of a price. I will have someone else help me with the rear shock as per your advice. So it looks like I need to save a little cash to score the springs and valve kit.

If you upgrade the front springs you don't need compression valves. Heres the deal: stock the springs are much much too soft for anything, so the rebound valving is super weak [not alot of spring rate to fight] and the compression is super hard. If you keep the stock 10w oil and upgrade only the springs then the compression will be too much and the rebound will be laughable in how much it doesn't do anything. I am only 1 turn out from full soft on my compression with .85kg/mm springs and 10w oil. Doing it over I would have used 5w oil like racetech recommends and that should put my compression adjustment somewhere more in the middle which will allow more tuning if needed. Doing 5w with stock rebound valving would make the rebound competely useless so its a must to upgrade.

OP- you feel your rear shock botteming out? How much do you weight? Stock honda rear spring is the right rate for a 150lbs rider. I weigh 160 and I have the rear shock set to 4 and its at the low end of enough sag.
