RE: suspension questions?
Hate to disagree with you, but a F2 does not have cartridge forks (ok, the 1994 model kinda sort does, but with limited adjustment). The F2 has a conventional style fork. True cartridge forks did not come till the F3.
The F2 and F3 shock will work, but the spring rates are different as well as the linkage rates.

RE: suspension questions?
Hmm, I thought the 94 forks were cartridge . Maybe not?
So, does anyone know how to swap the lower part of the f2 forks onto the f3 forks? I keep reading that it can be done, but I haven't been able to find anyone who has done it. I'd like to get some cartridge forks for the f2, but i really like having a speedo, so I am not real excited about swapping to the entire f3 front end.
The other thing I have considered is getting the racetech springs and cartrige emulators. They sound like a good idea, but I don't know how they compare to actual cartridge forks. Anyone care to share their opinion?
Thanks,
Pete
