Don't go too fast and you'll be alright. If you're going fast and don't see it coming, don't brake hard when you hit them. Just release the throttle and let the bike slow down by itself. I've gone over 60 on those without any trouble but you probably shouldn't god much faster than that.

Just let the bike do it's thing - it knows where it wants to go, so don't force it to do something else by giving it too much input.

Yeah it says in the CA dmv manual that it gives a "wandering" feeling. You're supposed to just go straight over it and go the speed limit, if not slower. Theres a freeway I have to ride that has these and it's scary at first but you really get used to it.

Stripped pavement doesn't bug me as much as grated bridges. You know, the kind were if you look down past your front tire you can see whatever you're going over?

I am so agreement fellas first the stripped streets stilll scare the **** out me, my issue there is at night you dont see it coming. One minute your doing 80 on a familiar street the next you feel like your going down if you dont slow way down. I only go about 25 on the stripped streets. Now, for the grated sometimes wet bridges I am in full agreement. I dont even mess with it.
