My cbr f4i has developed this loud rattle, at idle and through the rev range.


I've felt around for loose bolts but can't find anything, it sounds like it's coming from mid section of the exhaust?

 

So I'm not sure if cct as this noise wasn't present on the ride in to work, but was during warmup before the ride home.

And just sounds so bad. Do you think someone has popped something down the exhaust?

As said I put my hand over and around different bolts but I can't find anything.

When I palm the exhaust the noise is dampened significantly, or could the CCT noise travel through the exhaust to enhance its presence?
