Default SS Lines & Gold Calipers

Finally installed my lines from the group buy along with gold calipers off a 929RR. The calipers are purely a cosmetic mod, but look much sharper IMO.

Looks good. Maybe this is a retard question, but why did you switch the location of the line on the rear caliper?

edit...nevermind, it WAS a retard question. apparently I didn't read the 929rr part of your post. Ooops!

Look good... Do you notice any difference in braking with the SS lines?

Looks clean. The difference should be obvious the first time you squeeze the lever.

Stainless steel lines make more of a difference on the f4i then other other vehicle 4 or 2 wheeled I've ever put SS lines on. Maybe my stock 4yr old lines were bad but the new lines were amazing.

Truthfully I'm uncertain in the braking gains so far. Only took it for a short trip around the block after I put it all back together. It also has different pads in it and to me it feels like they need to be scrubbed in good 1st. Lever feel is great though.

I'll snap a few when if it ever quits raining and when I get a chance.

Dang man that looks good! Couple questions, what year is your F4i & what year 929 did those calipers come off of? How much were the SS lines in the group buy(that I obviously missed out on ) and how much do they cost regularly, oh and who sells em?

Mine is a 2001 and I do believe the calipers were off a 2000 929RR. The lines are from moto-heaven. moto-heaven :: Brakes :: HEL Front and Rear Braided Brake Lines :: Honda :: Street/Sport :: Honda CBR600 F4i 2001-2007 Sport HEL Performance Brake Line Kit (RACE)
