Or maybe my problem is the brown wire, i read all the 9 pages again and Kuroshio saids tha the brown wire has to be joined to a black/red wire at the 10p gray connector. I have a doubt cause i think there is no black red wire in the gray connector... I'll check it out...

I'll look under my seat tomorrow when I get a chance and find my brown wire

One thing that could be impacting this (and I just half noticed / half remembered): in the F4i shop manual there are 2 wire diagrams. One is for 01-03 and the other is 04-06.

There are way too many wires in the 2 diagrams to figure out the differences. But that they put 2 complete diagrams in there hints that it's more than just a couple different colors. I have an 06 F4i

lol dude it's 1 am and I haven't messed with the alarm in a year. Give me a chance to refresh my memory with a peek tomorrow and I'll let ya know . Oh and I eliminated the pink and grey wires. That I do remember.

I keep the alarm fob separate from the key so if someone gets the key, the fob attached to it will only turn on my leds. And then had a bad experience where i set off the alarm while riding one day with the alarm fob in my pocket

The mystery brown -> black connection. The black wire I connected to was wrapped in electrical tape from the manufacturer. it crosses the battery from the left side to the right side. I sliced open the tape and spliced into the black wire with solder
