Your bike looks great! I have the exact same f4I, year color etc. I already have an unpainted tail cowl for my conversion, I'm looking for the rest of the parts at a good price either piece by piece or as a package. Any suggestions where to look? And how much did the whole project end up costing you? Thanks

You should take the stickers off the swing arm and alos remove the reflectors!

Looks awesssssssssssssssssome!

Wow, that is one nice looking f4i! I am jealous! I always knew that blue with a split seat would look badass....I took the easy way out and just bought an 01....lol. Either way, very nice! Very sweet bike you have there!

I wanna do this to my bike about how much did this all cost ? and would this be a hard task for someone who pretty much just started riding?

Its a straight-forward swap/conversion. If you can turn a wrench, you can do it.

Since this thread is ancient & OP hasn't logged in over 2 yrs, closing this thread. Do a search on the split seat conversion, there is a lot of info.
