Default Split Seat Conversion

I just bought a 05 CBR f4i and I am looking to do a split seat conversion. What parts do i need and where is the best place to get them?

seats, tail section, subframe

there are a few how to's on this subject on here, just search as mentioned previously
and you'll have to check out ebay and craigslist to find the parts

it's easy, just need the parts... everything swaps over. You need the seats, tail light, under tail, battery tray, plastic, frame, and passenger pegs. Search this forum for parts, or ebay.. or local salvage yards. Good deals can only be found if you search.

^^ yup, I did it on my f4i for less then 400 all from Ebay.

need to make sure you replace the rear tank mounting bolts to with ones for a 01 -03 F4i too. The seat rests on these bolts and not replacing them will cause the undue wear on the seat and put more undue pressure on the fairing. Will need various other bolts too, and pass pegs w/ bolts too.

Can you reuse the passenger pegs from an 04-06?
