Something is wrong with my F4i and its driving me INSANE.
Bike => 2004 CBR600 F4i
Ok so about a month ago I got a flat rear tire. The next day I bought a new tire and replaced the old one. On the SAME day I hit a bad patch of ice and went down with my bike. It was about as mild as spills get, my bike barely had a scratch and all I came out with was a bruised knee.
The problem is, ever since the tire-change/spill, my bike has been acting weird and I can't figure out what it is! It feels sort of wobly at times, more so on turns and at lower speeds (and when stopping). The best way to describe it is; is that it feels like I have a flat front tire. But I checked the pressures and everything looks ok.
I took it to a guy that mainly works with Honda bikes, he spun the wheels and readjusted the handle bars, but the problem has stayed, if not getting worse. I feel like maybe it's just in my head...
I want my bike to coast smoothly again, but I can't afford to keep taking it to get it checked, any ideas??
Thanks,
Matt

I feel like its more often when I turn left (which is the side my bike landed on when I layed it down) but I'm not that certain. I'll check it out next time I'm out.
I'll also check my tire and lower the pressure a bit, about how low should I go? Its at about 36psi right now.

36 is what is recommended, lower pressure let the tire distort more and cupping happens. Great for track riding though.
Find someone else who has a F4i and let them ride it. Don't tell them what exactly you feel, just tell them the bike feels like something is off.

How old was the last set of tires you had on it before you got the flat and replaced the rear? More specifically did a flat spot develop down the middle of the tires from straight line riding? Having an old front with a flat spot worn down the middle and a new perfectly round new rear might feel a bit odd. Bike would lurch a little when turning when the front flat spot sharply leaned when it hit its apex and the rear would stay gradual the entire time. Would have to be a pretty well worn flat spot to be that noticeable though.
+1 and it might just be your head,just need to get used to the new tire and if you have diffrent brand tires that would also cause bad handling ..
