Pilot Road 3's or pilot road 2's if you want to go a bit cheaper. I had q2's and they were good but didn't last very long, and I'm not trying to remount tires every 4k miles. The q2's are very soft, I had to patch the rear a couple times due to punctures. I went with pilot road 3's this time and love them, both the q2's and the road 3's can handle much more than I'm throwing at them. I think the pilot road 3's are the best bet for you. Check out this article if you haven't seen it Michelin Pilot Road 3 1800-mile tyre review - Features - Visordown.

I run the Q2's on mine, I ride track and street with mt runs...I luv them..my front has 14 trackdays and the rear has 11 plus the street riding (but I am only 130lbs)...center is still decent but the right side is toast, time to put some fresh shoes on for the track..I rarely do any slipping unless my pressure gets to high..for track and spirited mt runs I run 31/30 hot and they grip and dig even when I'm riding close to the lip.... if you are mainly commuting, I would go with something with a little harder compound because you will go through the Q2's a little faster..

Bridgestone just brought out this new T30 tyres and they looks quite good and pretty good on review; Pilot 3 and 023 are good choice other than that

I reccomend power pilots to anyone who asks me. On my 3rd set always get good miles out of them too

My bike came with a brand new set of Shinko 009 and I had a set of them put on my last bike, no problems with them.

I think I'm going to try something different for my next set however, to see the difference in feel between tires.

I am running Q2's. I have just over 6K miles on them and the rear is just about down to the wear bars. If you think this is low or average wear for the miles for a tire, then please note that I also have 5 full track days on them. I will be replacing them soon for another set of Q2's or the new Q3's.

I've been running Bridgestone Battlax BT016 front and rear, 120 and 180. They seem to be pretty decent, not bad in the rain - do a lot of wet riding myself.

Just ordered a set of Pirelli Diablo (basic) since my rear is starting to show the wear bar and, the front is getting there itself. I had Pirelli's on my cruiser so, I figured I'd stick with them as they've been solid so far.

actually I have the pirelli diablos myself. not crazy about them, hoping they will grip better in a few hundred miles after breaking in a bit.
