Question burn in

any one have a dark tinted DB and have you noticed any burn marks on your spedo ... I have seen people saying that the Double B. screen can and usually will burn your dash .... any thoughts... I just bought a Dark Tinted one .... You can barley see thru it even if you hold it up to light
this is the one I bought

That looks identical to the one I got off of eBay. I have had no problems...I like it.

I dont park my bike out in the sun though, so it rarely sits for more than 1 hr in the sun.

I think you'll be fine with the sun. But I've got the small ZG one, and it looks great. However was considering picking up a double bubble just because I have an enormous head, and I'm pretty tall, so when I'm going slightly over the speed limit, putting my head down, the top gets hit, and I can't see anything cause it's black.

Default thank you

thanks for the post .... .. have you looked close at your guages ... a lot of people didnt notice it at first ... but I did see where it was the tinted one ... this one just seems black but people also said it was from the reflecion and that the sun was not going thru the shield but reflecting off of it. ........ also peeps for 25 bucks its not bad and looks good ..I just know for 25.00 its not worth it if it burns my gauges ..If that was the case i would just paint the stock one black
