Ok so i been trying to figure out why my signals haven't worked for about a month now on my 2001 F4i, i have a new relay and all wiring, and controls,
now my question is, Does the Cluster itself send the signal to the lights

Like does the signal control send to the cluster and then the cluster send to the relay and the relay sends it to the correct side?

if so then i might've found my answer, because my cluster doesn't show it signaling at all and my tach doesn't work as well. any input would be helpful

 

The cluster does not generate the signal, it only has a light in it that turns on when you've selected Left or Right.

• Do your Position or Parking lights work ?
• Do your break lights work ?
• Do you have 12v at the White/Green wire of the Turn Signal Relay when the Ignition Key is turned on ?

Answering these questions will help point in the right direction.
