Default Side Mirror Installation

I need to replace a side mirror (layed the bike down in the grass, so luckily, no scratches...just a busted mirror)

How difficult is this to do? I noticed that the instrument panel molding is on the other side of the mirror bracket. I don't have to take that off, do I? That would be a pain. I'm hoping that the bracket just screws into the windscreen panel, without having to take the whole instrument panel apart to get to some phantom nut, on the other side of the bracket.

Thanks

30 seconds and a 5mm allen wrench

a blind/deaf tibetan midget squirrel could do it in less than a minute

Mirrors are casualties in a crash. Might be a good time to get the bling. I went with CF mirrors and levers after my crash.
