Default Shark Skinz experience

Has anyone used these replacements before? I've read bad things about other aftermarket fiberglass parts so I would like to get more information on these. Any horror stories about any other brands?

fiberglass is lighter and easier to fix then OEM plastic, so it's great for race plastics but on the road the chip alot easier with rocks hitting them so it's up to you.

If its for your daily rider, I dont know if I would go with any kind of fiberglass. Like stated above, it is a lot weaker than the OEM plastics and is going to be more prone to cracking and chipping from raod debris. Its the same thing as when its on a car. Any kinds of rocks or debris come up and hit it, or even hitting bumps (especially in cold weather) its will crack. I would try to find some plastics, IMO.

yea, i hated having the fiberglass bodykit on my car. . it was like if you even looked at it the wrong way i would crack. but its true its easy to fix when you mess it up.
