the lojack dealer told me that lojack doesnt give you money equal to the value of the your bike, they just refund your money spent on the lojack

Honest I have no idea and you'd probably have an inside person that does the installations tell you. I had them do the install here at work and he was still working on it when I went on break. My smokes were in my truck and dude was like "you can't be here and you can't watch me install this" So guess it's super top secret? no clue. I still wouldn't put too much trust in lo jack in a bike, but if you've got the money to blow, it can't hurt as an extra step.

Reason I'm going with the alarm instead of chains or disc locks and whatnot is because I don't want something extra to carry around. I'll be commuting on mine 95% of the time and our motorcycle parking is right in front of security. We also have cameras everywhere and our head security guy is a ****, he follows anyone that looks suspicious.

Yeah, from what I hear its confidential, no one can tell you. I have no idea what happens when a lojack employee quits, but the chances of you or anyone you know finding out where they hide the device is minimal

so i bought a chain, and added comprehensive. i bought this vault chain and lock from cyclegear, but i bought it just to hold me over until my 7' onguard beast comes in the mail.

where exactly on the bike should i wrap the chain around? i'm not good with terminology since i'm still relatively new to bikes. can someone point it out for me?

I have a coated cable that is supposed to be pretty hard for a criminal to cut. I used it when we rented a beach house and my bike had to sit under the house in the open. If you are really worried about it, id cable it to something, get full coverage insurance, and you could even get one of those ebay flashing led lights and wire it in to flash when the bike isnt running. It would make someone think you have an alarm when you dont....just an idea.
