Seal Driver for the Forks

Default Seal Driver for the Forks

What size driver is it and is it easy to make a do it yourself driver out of pvc or something . I bought a 2 inch pipe but its too big please help my forks are everywhere in pieces just the seals holding me up

`I swear to gawd I used a vacuum cleaner attatchment off ofa Dirt Devil for my fork seal driver. Worked like a charm. `
I just found this post my vacuum cleaner won`t work guess I need to buy a Dirt Devil .

Hmmm....I think you are needing new seals on your forks? I recommend going to www.bikebandit.com to get some new ones vs. making your own.

Seal driver part number is 32888-60505 from home depot. You just have to cut it where the inner diameter gets smaller, and grind off the threads on the end. Heres a crappy phone pic to help out:

Thanks axsys I`m tired of messing with pvc pipes it just won`t work for me . I`ll get that tomorrow and see how it goes

Thank you for the details on the Home Depot PVC seal driver. I used it today and it worked PERFECT. Two hits and the seal was fully seated.
