Default SE Valve Arm Spring Placement

2000 CBR 600 f4i
Hi everyone. I can't seem to figure out where this spring on the SE Valve Arm is supposed to go exactly. I've looked at a few manuals and it's still stumping me. If anyone can help me out that'd be great.

Here are some pictures of the spring I've found in diagrams:

It's on the left side of the SE Valve Arm in this one

And it's number 8 in this parts diagram

Forgot to mention that I can see that one end of the spring goes in the little hook on the SE Valve Arm but I can't find anywhere the spring is supposed to hook into

Im not familiar with this part personally , haven't torn into my throttle bodies.

But
Are you sure the other end hooks to anything? From the diagram it almost looks like the one end would just be a stopper.
When the valve rotated, it would simply keep the spring from turning. That way it would load up force on the spring to push back.

Not sure if this makes sense to you in this situation , like I said just going by the look of the spring.
Looks like the one end would just sit against a ledge or something.

That spring has always been a mental booger for me. I don't know why. Every time I have to remove it I take a picture of it for reference.

Your asking about a carburated F4 in a fuel injected F4i forum. Interesting.
