Default Screw Loose...

I just got my bike this week, and I am new to bikes. I was riding around and noticed this screw was sticking way out and it was unscrewing a little more every couple of times I pulled the clutch in. What is it? I stopped and screwed it back in as much as I could with a key, then went home and tightened it down all the way. Is this a common thing to happen, and what is this screw for. I assume it has to do w/ the clutch lever.

Here is a pic of what I am talking about.

It isn't uncommon - that part gets a lot of vibration

Blue loc-tite will fix it. DONT USE THE RED sht, just incase you ever decide to replace it.

Thanks for the replies/advice. I was wondering if I should lube it. I didnt know if maybe there is too much friction in there between the lever and the pivot screw and thats why the lever was working it out.
