I can always run to sears and buy the bit...but what bit am I looking for? (A link or pic of the bit would help)

This would work great. http://www.dremel.com/en-us/Attachme...l.aspx?pid=543

I used a regular cut off wheel though http://www.dremel.com/en-us/Attachme...l.aspx?pid=420

Either one is gonna melt the plastic some as you go along.

red...does your red lens there carry DOT approval?? mine didn't, so when i went integrated i made sure the new lens did...unfortunately i couldn't find red and had to go with a smoked unit. also whet brand is that undertail...mine looks the same and i've been trying to figure what it is

Hey Rez thanks, those look like speedmetal LED license plate bolts you got there. How do you like them? Are they bright enough and durable? I saw a pair at my local cyclegear. How are they wired? I assume they are wired into your existing turn signal wires?

I got them off ebay 2 years ago for like $11..lol They work great. Bright enough to not get me in trouble, and they still work so i guess theyre durable. I just wired them into the old plate light leads.

The taillight in the picture is the stock housing(so DOT approved of course) with the stock bulbs with my first relay operated integrated tail. I now use the same housing with my LED unit.

The Design Engineering, Inc. "Lite N' Boltz" are bright...

CycleGear is carrying the Speedmetal LED license plate bolts as well...

Both appear to be about the same.

No idea if this is what you're talking about but my keyhole is located behind my liscence plate under my tail. I'll take a picture if you like. Not sure if that's even what you're talking about though

I cut mine with an exacto knife. I used painters tape to get the lines I wanted then heated the exacto blade with a lighter. Cut/melted through like a charm and left clean lines. Sawzall is pretty aggressive but if your gonna use it defiantly put in a metal blade. The small teeth will give you a better/ easier cut.

Pardon the plastic and whatnot, I'm painting my tank.

I can't take any credit for this (it was done by the PO) but you could set your turn signals into your passenger rear sets like this. It's probably cleaner than anything except the license plate bolt lights pictured above.
