If you have stock headers it will work fine. Aftermarkets headers are not as strong so you would need a different jack/location.

i worked at a sears auto for 3 1/2 years and i would not recommend using ANY craftsman jacks...even their best car jacks that we store used needed replacing after a few months

I'm going to say no it's not safe. Stands will be much "safer" for you and the bike.

+ 1 there is no way I would pick up a bike by it's exuast and then begin to wrench on it.

Go get bike stands on ebay. much safer way to lift up your bike.

If you have a sportbike I'd think you'd be happier with stands in the long run.

Craftsman: The only Craftsman that is worth owning is the hand tools which have the lifetime replacement guarantee. All their other stuff is of questionable quality if not just plain crap.
And be careful when you buy their hand tools. Many of their tools of which you might assume would have the lifetime guarantee do not. Caveat emptor as they say...

i can strongly attest to this fact . i work for sears in the parts and repair service center. so when your **** is broken you come see me . i can also tell you that if any tool you buy that may have a 1 yr warranty if its used for commerical instead of residential use drops the warranty to 90 days. so never admit you used that torque wrench @ work and it just broke.

as far as using that jack i wouldnt[:@]
