So I went to go register my bike bike today and went to grab the title and realized that it had been taped and about an inch of the title was missing!!!
I immediately called the little punk i got it from and tried to keep my cool but i lost it and ended up in a huge argument and after realizing that i was gonna get nowhere i hung up and said Fu*k it and started lookin on ebay for a frame with a clean title . I found an 01 frame with 11k on the title clean and clear for 400 shipped and i got outbid at the last second! Thanks to Honda125 358, i got his for 400 shipped. Unfortunately i had to buy it to keep me from losing any sleep over this! Im irate to say the least but at least it will be clean untainted title when im done. Some people these days! All the little ***** could say was bring it back then! Yeah right im not gonna bring a bike back that i stuck money into and fixed the sh*t he messed up on it! not to mention my quad i traded for it is probably beat to a pulp by now! GRRRR!!!

 

That sucks, I guess it was missing that piece when you got it and you just didn't notice? Hope you get it all sorted out, good luck.

 

see.. if that kid knew his stuff, he wouldve used DUCT TAPE on the title.. that way you would have realized it when he handed you the title. kids these days

 

It's kind of your bad for not making sure the title was okay in the first place. That's a big piece of making sure the used vehicle you're buying is not anything it doesn't claim to be. But at least you can resolve the situation and get everything up to your specs.

 

When he handed me the title it was in 2 pieces and he said it tore from folding it. it was dumb on my part to not examine it closer but i guess i didnt figure someone would pull this shi*. Oh well lesson learned and at least ill have a clean title it was rebuilt salvage anyway!
