Default RS3 exhaust Mapping??????

Thanks guys for all the help got my RS3 on last night and it sounds great. I can’t wait until the weather warms up and i can ride. Although when i started the bike up seemed to back fire. i am getting the power commander over the summer. Do u think that i should have the bike re-mapped before i get the power commander? Will it run like **** without getting mapped ?

You need the PC (or similarfuel programmable devices like 2brother's Juice-box) for re-mapping and the bike won't run like **** without it.

I was running the slip-on RS3 on my 2002 F4i (no PCIII), it felt pretty good (ran like this about 4 months). It didn't run like ****.

I finally installeda PCIII (used standard issue RS3 map from PC) and noticed smoother delivery in the low end.
