ok
yea i got the link put on and pressed thru and used a punch to kinda flare out the pins and then tried to c clamp it to spread them more
it seems like it will hold, but they arent completely flattened out like on the rest of the links so i need to do some more on it
i figured ill take it out for an easy slow ride and then come back and check and make sure it hasnt slid out or anything
i was hammering on them last night witht he punch and they werent sliding back out of the link so i figured theres not gonna be any stronger of a force trying to push them out while im riding, but i would feel alot better if i could get them flared out more, even tho they are probably at least as flared out as much as this guy in this video gets them flared out

Once they flare, YOURE DONE. It is possible to put too much pressure on and crush the o-ring.
