After you guys cut your sproket cover, what adverse effects (dirt, oil, etc) did it have (if any)?
I'm revisiting the idea of GP Shift again. I also want something that's crashworthy if need be and that has easily replaceable parts. Brake light switch is a MUST.
I was reading somewhere about the PPTuning rearsets on the RC-51 board but cannot find them.

i believe the reason for the gp shift to to help during high-speed left hand turns. with the gp shift, you can still upshift as you are exiting the turn while still in the lean, without having to wedge your foot under the shifter. this way you just step on the shifter and go...

man that blows, I wish someone could make the metal peice that connects to the transmission not the shift bar, i wish they could alter just that piece so that it sticks out more so i can turn the bar around. Possibly a good idea if anybody wants to help me create something like this.
