ok I was able to remove the kick stand from the bike however I am having a hell of a time trying to remove the kick stand from the little plate to which it is bolted too.

Does anyonw know how to remove it? I am not sure if there is something that it keeping it secured but I can't budge it for the life of me.

Pretty much its just a real pain in the ***... you just have to muscle it. try spraying some PB Blast on there to help loosen it up.

You have to remove the bolt from the opposite end of the engine, Thats what I did.
