Recommended fork fluid density
I need to know the factory density for a 2006 model .
Anyone ? I want to go one step more in density question, because front suspension is very soft in the 2006.
Thanks in advance

Ya, preload and springs will affect soft -- fork oil is for damping. In the 1kRR it's not even fork oil ... it's suspension fluid. Guess that's why they can charge $20 for a quart
the weight is 8 weight iam running 10 weight in mine but i also have .85 racetech springs in it.do you have your springs adjusted all the way down? if you don't want to buy new springs just make cut some new longer collars for it.I would go maybe 200 mm longer. that will be better that nothing, but the front of the bike will ride a little higher so you will have to rise the shocks in the triple tree about 4mm.good luck
Ejohn, and all you guys, Honda CBR F4i 600 2006 model has not regulation in the fron forks.
thats it, see the image carefully and see it with your own eyes.

hope that is not true on our side of the world.but anyway i would not buy a bike that did not have adjustment on the forks. If my hunch is right this is probably the last year of the f4i anyway because they have tried to lower the status of the bike for last few years. I think the rr will be the only 600 they will have for the next few years.I would not own a later model than 02 myself the tail section is awful on the newer ones.
