Smile Rebound clunk

Hi all, my 1994 CBR 600, recently developed a clunk when the forks come back up, handles well, i replaced head bearings and wheel bearing cos i new they needed to be done thinking that might be the problem. Still a clunk!!! it happens when the forks fully rebound. Nothing when the forks go down? strange? any ideas? thanks

have you taken apart your forks? could be low on oil or a spring issue. gotta be something in there.

It's possible the slider bushings could have gone bad. It's nothing to rebuild these forks. New oil, bushings, and seals will probably set you back about $40-$50 total and an hour, hour and a half tops

Hopefully you mean servicing a single fork (once it's removed). It took me the better part of an entire day to get'er done, and that's with stands & proper tools. But yes it's not too difficult of a procedure and it does sound like maybe there's something internally wrong with yours OP.
