Default what ARE these wires...

Here's a video to explain my problems:

I'm basically wondering what those 2 sets of wires are. Accessory plugs?

EDIT: Whoops, I accidentally posted this before my video finished processing. One second and I'll edit it in.

The two black prongs that you say look like they were connected but you don't know what they go to are the wires that connect your clutch switch. Basically this is what prevents the bike from being started when in gear.

Ah, ok. I figured it was something like that because I didn't see anywhere else it could be going.

As for the other set? ..

Not sure man. You might want to see if you can download the shop manual just search for it in the forum and look at the wiring diagrams you can try and match the wire color to the diagram and see what it goes to.

What HID kit are you using?

The reason i ask is because most kits use the stock bulb connectors to power the ballasts. They are plug n play. No need to run wires to relays or fuse boxes.

All bikes come with daytime running lights or an "always on low beam" for safety reasons. I would advise against removing that feature.

looks like a good buy

To redirect the power for the headlights on/off using the hi/lo switch, you need to run a wire from the low beam hot to the switched hot on relay. I have hids also but kept it factory. I used two relays and they get the switched signal from the stock headlight wires.
