solidworks sucks! Autodesk Inventor FTW!
Actually, I don't really know, i've used both and i think solidworks has more features built right into it. We use inventor here at work, just like solidworks except its the autodesk version.
I have access to a few machine shops and one I know would make it pretty cheap I bet. I just need a drawing and/or the solid model and I can get it quoted for ya. Oh yeah, and material spec. If its steel, i'm assuming you'd want it painted or plated
I just need to know your target cost and quantity desired. Of course, they'd probably want the money up front...
But of course, the idea in the other thread is probably the cheapest way to go. If anyone wants a set of those or even a set with a few holes for adjusting, I could probably get a deal on it as long as we have enough quantity. I just need input and see how many people are interested so I can see what kinda quantity breaks we could get...
