I have an 05 f4i and I'm trying to convert it to the two seat style of 2001 to 2003 and recently bought a tail fairing and front seat for an 2003 f4i and need a rear seat for a for it and cant find one on ebay for a reasonable price. Anyone have any advice to try and find one.

 

did u also bought the rear sub frame?? maybe tail lights and harness??

 

Your going to need the rear sub-frame along with the tail fairing and the two seats. You will need the stock undertray and brakelight unless you put an aftermarket undertail on. It isn't a hard swap. It took me about 3 and a half hours. I have an 05' F4i and I put all 03' stuff on it (subframe, fairing, seats, undertay and an aftermarket undertail). Just keep searching ebay. I bought my seats off this forum in almost brand new condition for $55 bucks shipped. Let me know how it goes.

 

Where did you get your subframe, did the lock latch come with it. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the frame. You can email me at whalen77@peoplepc.com

 

I've bought everything off of ebay besides the seats which I bought on here. I payed 125 shipped for the subframe and 145 shipped for the tail fairing. The lock comes on the undertray. I'm just taking it off and mounting it on the undertail. Ebay is your best bet for parts though.
