rear brakes

Default rear brakes

looks like its time to replace the rear brakes on the bike. can the pads be changed without bleeding them??

Haven't need to do pads yet, but I think that calipers come off and there are just little clips holding the pads in.

yeah they can be change w/o bleeding...almost the same procedure i do to car brakes....u'll need a small C clamp to press in the caliper

yeah and u can use the same technique when u do the front brakes...cars or bikes..but u'll need a bigger C-clamp for the car

yup... it was really easy. the front brakes will be a while so we will see then!

only time you realy need to bleed in pad maitnance is when you get the calipers stuck together (good use for the c-clamps) only reason i bled the brakeson my XR was beacuse i also put on some steel braided lines. bleeding isnt really a big deal, takes maybe and hour if you do it right the first time.
