just use the same one as a car, but you have to find a way to mount it, and you also have to install a power supply (cigarette lighter). But when you dont use the power supply for the radar, you can also charge your cell phone. +2

You don't have to use a cigarette lighter

In my many trucks & cars...I've always hardwired my radar detector (to come on with the car) and you could do the same thing on your bike. Also it's a neater way of wiring it (hide the wiring) instead of using a coiled cord plugged into the cig. lighter.

There's a radar detector "wiring kit" at Best Buy for $10 and it has neg/pos wires together with a inline fuse on the positive wire, and on the other end is a plug & it comes with 3 different size adapters to fit into the plug which will fit almost all radar detectors.
Just hook that up to the battery and ground it & wire it up to wherever you mount your radar detector.

Kind of pain in the butt to have a radar detector though, because you have to take it off your bike all the time (or it'll get stolen) and you gotta wire up an earbud so you can hear it cuz you won't be able to see the lights during the day.

Or if you don't wanna wire it, get a battery operated radar detector.

the downside with radar detectors on bikes is that the audible signals are such an important part of the warning system, i don't know if it would truly even be a benefit.

i've been considering having a K40 undetectable put on my bike, and may do it yet. i've never seen a radar detector that performs as well, and the integration makes mounting a non-issue.

The new chatter boxes have accessory jacks for ipods, radar detector sounds, etc. Kinda nice. If only bluetooth?
