well, there is a guy at work thats got a 2002 GSX-R 750 thats bone stock and hes been riding bikes for about a year.. i have a 2001 F4i slightly moded and have been riding and racing sence i was 3.. well he wants to race me, i and figured he would get me on a drag.. so i said F that you have a damn 750! so now we are going to race in the back roads! does he have such a pony advantage that ill get my but whooped or what?!?!

 

ive heard that gixxer 750 is a fast bike, it will be close though....you also have to remember that the F4i is the little brother* in the backroads, so that may be a disadvantage even though it is a great all around sportbike.

If you have some longer straight aways and he knows how to ride then you are goign to get it handed to you, That 750 Gixxer is fast. But if its mainly twisties and you got the skill than you have a chance.

but not to call you out...but what the heck were you racing at 3 years old? that doesn't really count mang...

 

You could beat that 750 in a drag if you're a better rider. If you're about equal in skill he'll win.

 

I've been riding for about a year...you could probably beat me on the back roads on a ninja 250. In a drag race, I feel I have a good feel for the clutch/gas balance and my launches can be fairly strong. Race him where there are plenty of turns.

i owned an 01' 750. i think sportrider clocked it at 173 on top. that was one fast b!tch. great bike in the twisties as well. your gonna need your skills. good luck be safe

 

well i am going to go for it!! i got a 1989 Yamaha PW-50 when i was 4 and was racing flat track circles!! lol.. but anyways he doesnt look like the type to be a real rider... (wears shorts to work on the bike) i know the road we are going on like the back of my head bcause i ride it almost every weekend and its sorta like the dragon so i think ill get em! ill let you guys know who wins!
