Question Quick Frame Slider question

I recently bought some frame sliders off eBay and when the package came in the bolts and puck ends were different sizes.

For you guys that have already installed frame sliders is this the way they should be?

The pucks are the same but the ends that point toward the bike are different in diameter.

Also the bolts are different in length. One is 4 inches the other 5. I just wanted to get my facts straight before I start a conflict with the seller. TIA

Dunno. On my bike it goes into the bolt that is about 4 inches to the right or left of the upper side fairing screw.

I noticed that too when I mounted the slider pucks on to the base and tightened the bolt to the frame...one side was longer than the other so I thought I did it wrong, but then I realized (which I'm not sure the exact reason), but for the F4i, the longer bolt is on the right side because, which I think, the exhaust pipe sticks out and rides up on the right side. I've always wondered why too, but i'd rather not have to find out, or any of you guys at least

Also if you look at the frame on the left side it is recessed <sp?> a bit and the right side isnt, so just to get to the threading you have to go through more junk. and the extended slider makes sense too...
