Question from a new rider
Hi everyone, I'm new to riding, at least on the street. Growing up I rode dirtbikes and quads but have never ridden a streetbike. I was wondering how suitable and F4I would be as far as a first bike goes. I'm taking my MSF course next week and then buying a bike and I really like the way the F4I feels but wanted to get an opinion from people that already own one. I love the way this bike looks and feels but I don't want to make a rash decision and get on something that I won't be able to handle. Thanks for any input or advice you have.

RE: Question from a new rider
ya I personaly love my f4i it was my first bike aswell. and I still have it. not only is it a very forgiving bike and easy to handle for your first bike. but it will perform just as good as all the other bikes. and when you get some road time under your belt. there are tons of mods you can do. and I walk all over my buddy's gsxr 750. but you should always go with what fits you best.
but good luck.
but good luck.

RE: Question from a new rider
I disagree with Fish. It depends on the person and their background. If you have extensive dirt background then fine. As far as sportbikes go, there's not a better sportbike to start on than the F4i. But I agree with Fish in the sense that if I had to do it over again, I would have started with a standard bike, sub 100hp.

RE: Question from a new rider
The '08 Ninjas are the ****! They look great, have upgraded performance from the last several years, and will afford you an opportunity to get comfortable with a street bike. Worried about having to upgrade later? No big deal, you won't have any trouble selling it when you are done with it. Maybe even get your g/f or wifey riding with it.
