so my motor right now is taking a ****, 3rd gear is almost gone, cam chain tensionor and chain are shot. but i have anotehr motor with about 1500 miles on it from my buddies wrecked bike, but he took apart the motor kinda, he was going to turbo it and put it on a go kart, but any way i have to put the motor back together. i can see the pistons so it is apart from the head up bassicly, so i was wondering if anyone has done this before, pulling the old motor and all. let me know if u have any tips or suggestions. any help would be good

 

I'd definately get a service manual for this job.

 

yeah i have one, i got the nice one 2 from honda that all the techs use.

 

Just read and follow the service manual. That should be about it.
