Default Props to Targa

I happened to notice some spider webbing in the paint of my rear seat cowl. I called Targa and they gave me a RA number to send it back for inspection. I called them today since they have had it for a month, and turns out that though they were able to polish most of it out, they are nervous about it being too thin now. So they are sending me a brand new one. A little slow on communication from them, but they are stepping up and taking care of it.

That's what you like to hear... a company standing behind their product.

That's how you build a solid reputation and gain the publics trust. You were happy and will tell your buddies, plus posting here for hundreds to see. Smart move on Targa's part. I've always liked the looks of their stuff, but have never bought any. I 'll give them a closer look now.

My buddy just put one on and he didn't need to do any modification on the subframe. He just had to remove the "oh ****" bar, and that was about it. I always assumed that you had to do a lot more to put them on. It looks very cool...like the abdomen of an army ant.

As soon as I get it back I will send the close ups, or make a thread, of how it mounts and stuff.

The cowl was bought in May, and I was a little worried they might not step up. But glad to see they did. Just waiting for one to come from the paint shop now.

My buddy had to wait two months to get his. The group was giving him hell for a bit. I guess you can't rush art.
