i have seen a few polished pretty decent and i think it looks sexy... i am going to take my time check my progress and if i am not happy i will sand it with a even finer grit even if i have to take it past 2000....lol

i have to keep bringing myself back and slow down.....

on a side note today found my touch up paint gun....going to have to let them soak in thinner for a while....

get them ready to paint the fairings

ok i got the frame cleared and i am wet sanding ....I HATE HONDA WELDERS... so many ripples in the welds it's pure insanity .... but i am not far off from buffing it out...

alright here's my current progress... still not to my desired perfection but little more work and i may not be able to get it all. what i have found is that the manufacture really roughs these up before coating.... but it should take some time...

cleaned up exhaust side

cleaned up drive side... polished

as you can see where there is typically brake dust dirt grease oil deposit i am leaving black.... but you can see a good example of how deep the factory grit lines are

this area is partially polished

the prgress here is simply amazing in my opinion..... i might need machine sand it and re step through some processes to get the remaining scratches out to have the chrome like finish i desire..

at a distance side view it looks chrome but i am extremely picky.
my desire is to have a show quality production.
