Default In the Process of 600RR Swingarm Swap....

I am in the process of swapping my 2001 F4i swingarm to a 600rr swingarm and i have a few questions. I already took off the f4i swingarm and now im wondering what type of shock mount to use? do i just use the 600rr one? Also, It LOOKS like the 600rr swingarm is actually shorter than the f4i one, even though i've heard people on the forum say that the 600rr was longer. Will i need a longer chain? i bought new chain and sprockets and don't really want to have to swap the chain. Also, i have the 600rr caliper and caliper mount but i dont have the master cylinder. will i need the master cylinder from a 600rr or will f4i one work?? ( i know that i have to use the 600rr brake line because the f4i is not long enough)

If you google the swap you'll find alot of info. Your going to need the 1000RR rear shock and all bottom links of the 600RR. I can tell you that you will need a longer chain, the RR swingarm is about 2 inches longer. You don't need the RR master cylinder and you can use your short brake line if you keep your stock black rear caliper. If you go with the gold one off the RR, then you need the RR brake line also. I have pics posted all over. If you look at the CBR of the month thread, you'll see my bike. Its the red one. Anyways, hope this info helps. Good luck with the swap.
