I use the one in my tool kit from honda with the extension which made it around 7" or so... (that's what she said) hahaha... i tried to do it without the extension and ended up busting my knuckles...

Does anyone know the adjustment increments? In other words, if I go from 3 (stock) to 5 for example, how many more pounds is that designed to handle? Shouldn't each mark 1-7 correspond to varying loads?

jsut got off the phone with my dealer about the no tool kits. Offical word from honda is out in this months "redrider" but it will state "due to the Low mat and to reduce bikeweight for the sporting nature we are now not shipping tool kits with our bikes. but you can buy one from them.

I am sorry, are you assuming that most riders know what preload is?

That would almost be like expecting riders to actually read their owners manual.

If I go to a hardware store and purchase a generic "C" Wrench should I look for a specific size?

I am "big boned" shall we say, and I would like to adjust my suspension up a few notches. Can you actually buy the tools in the kit separately? That would be good.
