Default Power commander and throttle body sync

I bought a used powercommander. I need to find a map that will work, i did not find one for a K+N and regular micron. Found one for a high mount. But anyways, should i sync the throttle bodies then install the PC3 or should I tune the throttle bodies with the PC3 plugged in? Thanks guys.

a map for any slip on and air filter will work pretty well for you

the difference between a micron and say a yosh or 2 bros pipes isn't enough to through off your map

you can sync your throttle bodies before or after you tune the pc3

It may or may not be good for the bike, but I just played with different maps until I found one that matched up to my set up. I have a D&D and there was no map for that set up. I tried an Erion map first and it ran WAY to rich to the point of flooding the engine. I switched to a Micron exhaust setup and it runs like a dream. Thats what I did

I just diddnt know if there was a "right" way to do it. So i guess ill just plug the PC in and try to fire it up and see what happens. I sure hope I got the motor back on the right time when i put the top end back together.

If not ill be pulling everything back off the bike and retiming the motor.
