Possibly getting an 03' F4i

I bought and 02 f4i with 11k miles and very slight rash on one side for 3k. Very well taken care of with aftermarket exhaust and levers and flush turn signals

I've been riding for a few years now and picked up my f4i this spring.
I find it VERY twitchy. Most sport bikes are. I'm planning on going to an older more touring bike to get away from the touchy throttle. The roads here are bumpy and my speed changes a couple MPH on every bump.

^^^ Check out an SV650. The V-Twin makes very linear and useable power and the riding position is a little more upright than the F4i.

I bought the same bike that you were or are looking at 03 f4i silver n black....8700 miles on it... very very clean and only paid $3500

sv is a great bike ive had one i wouldnt buy a bike with 37,000 miles i bought my 02 f4i with 9,500 miles on it for $800 and all it needed is fuel pump and and elbow greas to take rust out of the tank

Go lower! I got my 03 f4i with 4900 miles on her for 3k. And btw 30k miles is nothing, there is a dude on here with over 200k on his f4i

but 30k+ miles of unknown maintenance can be a death blow. I won't buy a bike wiht miles like that but have 0 issues packing the miles onto my bike.
