Default New FPR - still have codes

My FPR went on my 2002 F4i and I replaced it last night. It seems to idle and run fine now but when I ride it the FI Light doesn't go away on the display.

Will it go away naturally or do I have to clear the codes on the ECU? I rode the bike briefly and it seems to be running fine but I didn't take it on any extended trips or anything, just around the neighborhood.

Also..I was fickling with the idle and I turned it down by accident trying to figure out which way was the right way and turned it down by accident. The bike had trouble starting and ran erratic, required revving to stay running. I turned the idle up and it seems to be working fine now..is this normal?

The FPR isn't gonna have anything to do with your FI light..... read the code and find out why the FI light is on, and fix that problem

For anyone who is interested. It was the MAP sensor not having the vaccuum tube plugged in, causing it to run funky @ idle

running like new again

Haha, seems like a common sensor to leave unplugged. I actually forgot the first time too but just barely caught it as I was about to put screws back on the gas tank.

Glad you got your bike fixed. That FPR changes everything.
