Default Polishing My F4i Wheels Any Tips????

I know how to polish aluminum ive done it time and time again but i do have a few questions regarding our f4i wheels

i started stripping my wheels and i happened to notice that the lip is pretty much polished once the paint is stripped off but the center of the wheel along with the spokes are deffffffffff not its more of a chunky cast aluminum.... how hard of a time am i going to have trying to polish the aluminum in the center of the wheel? Is it worth my time or should i just shoot the center of the wheel and polish the lip?

Any tips/write ups/ advice would be greatly appreciated

Even with polishing, you'd have a hard time getting the wheels looking like that - outsides included. That's why things are chromed, it's just not the same.

That said, I don't have experience with polishing wheels, but it seems to me like you answered your own question. Without putting money into getting chrome wheels, and if the middle takes a ton of effort, might as well paint them to look as chrome as possible in the middle, and polish the rest to your liking.

Chrome wheels on a non-show bike suck anyway. Haven't you noticed how dirty your wheels get? Yikes!

hey man thanks for the input. I don't really have a prob. With my wheels gettin dirty I don't ride in the rain and only during the warm seasons and they remained very clean. I'll prolly just end up painting the centers

Rain doesn't make wheels dirty, chain wax and general road dirt does.
