Default Polished parts on my F4i..

Hi there.

So I took some parts off the bike, remove the wheels, engine covers and other things. I took them to polishing process and they told me that they recommend to put to the polished things a couple of coats of transparent lacquer because with the time they put a little opaque.

sorry but i hope you understand me

Anyone knows about it?

Thanks

ummm here is what i can reccomend for polishing... i just send alot of my stuff for powdercoate... your engine and stator cover... easiest way to polish these is to use air craft paint stripper... will take this paint right off easy... i didnt even have pitting problems... from here im sure you know the typical polishing process.... only problem i can see with putting a clear coating of some type over it is the hot parts will have a tendency to try and make the clear peel...

Mmmm maybe they peel but one of my friends told me that those parts will turn into a clear yellow because the engine heat. But i still dont know if the clear coat will remain the bright polish on the parts. I dont know how to explain it, lol...
