Please help! pimpbike undertail question!
ok here is my question:
I am a little confused about where to cut on my pimpbike's undertail.
Do I cut this off that I circled in red? It has the stock holes that the black plastic screws pop into.
in the picture it shows on the instructions it shows it not being there but I wanted to make sure because does this now eliminate the black screws from connecting the red fairing to the main body?

I'd like to finish cutting this today and install it today, I know there is a lot of people on here with the pimpbikes undertail so if you guys could chime in and let me know that would be great.
So sorry, I was looking at something completly different in my mind.
You do have to cut that piece, its alright.
my bad, for some reason I imagined the tail-piece fairing being cut, the outter edges. lol

I asked pimpbikes through e-mail with the same picture and they told me to cut it off and that the 2 screws on each side are plenty to hold the rear fairing and undertail on.
I edited my post above, so read it again.
And as for the that piece of info that pimpbikes gave you, they are totally correct, I was thinking about the tail-piece edge when you were asking about cutting! lol sorry bout the confusion

Yes, correct, you want a clean running edge so that the under-tail will fit properly.
You don't have to cut too high either, just that bungee-hook circled in purple and the extending edge you have circled in red.
Take your time and dont hurry the process, go in slowly and try and stick to the edge as much as possible to ensure a straight cut.
Good luck.

Correct!
And here you go, this ought to help the confusion
You can see the bungee-hook in the pics, orient yourself from that and note how you only cut in a straight line and not above or higher than the outer edged black fender piece you circled earlier in red.

Sorry bout the crappy cell phone resolution.
hope this helps.
