Thanks for getting back to us about your problem. Makes this site much more helpful that someone with a problem followed up with the solution!
But I don't understand. hydrolock is a serious problem. It means the engine locked up. Is this what you mean to tell us what happenend?

yeah unfortunately it did lock up, so what happened upon that needle valve failing, it created a negative vacuum on two of the cylenders causing it to fill with gas way too quick for it to be able to use it, thus choking it out and not being able to turn it over or do anything for that matter.

another FPR bites the dust.. imagine that lol
as far as your engine hydrolocking, you cant compress liquid therefore it wont turn over.. refer to my post here

something else i'm having trouble finding a solution to is a few years back my bike was stolen, I somehow recovered the bike without having any real damage done to it as a safety precaution i had gone to a local shop and purchased a new ignition switch and gas cap for the bike, not really thinking at the time, i had gotten rid of the origionals and now i'm stuck with a passenger seat lock that unfortunately is still keyed to the origional factory specs. Booooooooooo... what to do....
