basically, to remove the lock assembly, there is a spring clip type of washer on the backside of the cylinder. bend to the clips out of the way, undo the cable, and slide it out. decide your new location and drill a hole the same size as the barrell and push the spring clip back on it, bend the pins back. If I remember, the hole is keyed to keep the cylinder from spinning, so you will have to work that out.
