plate light wires

Default plate light wires

my bike came w/ an undertail and no plate light so i got some led bolts just to keep the cops off me....i found a white plug with 2 wires(green/black) thats left unplugged so im figuring thats for the plate light...i wanna make sure its the right switch before i cut and splice and i just need to know which wire is which...green pos. or neg?

F@@king sql error.

Without looking brown is power. Easy to test with an LED or multimeter - touch a pin and touch the frame - if it lights. voila.

According to the schematic - green is common to all rear lights, and brown therefore is power... that is consistent with the work I did last month.

yep you were right...black was power, green's ground to anyone wondering

Green seems to be the standard ground color on the F4i.
