i'd like to leave my bike on the rear stand all the time for easy maintenance. i'm tired of using theslippery **** swingarm pad stand every 300-500 miles for chaincareso i'm gonna order some of these from pit-bull. how much you guys think it will cost to get em welded on properly? thanks

 

take it to a good welder and get it done, probably like 10 bucks or so.

you using the t-rex stands or what?

my handy's have no such problem.

get rid of the hassle, use grip tape on the underside of the swinger...not visible to the eye and will work like a charm.

 

no, i have a fly racing stand (70 bucks). the stand flexes too much (aluminum). i figure 17 bucks and a cheap spool stand will be super stable. theres no way i'd leave my bike sitting on the pad stand for any length of time. my bikes never ever been close to being dropped while riding but i've had to save it from falling off that crappy stand
